This past holiday weekend (labour day), a few of us who didn't dive up to Bonfield for the annual event had a small bbq and fight practice. It was great to get a little excercise and try some new stuff. Unfortuantly I'm now in need of a new shield. Apperantly I've been using it correctly. The style of shield I have is a heater. Which mean the top corner nearest to my face takes a lot of abuse. Well, it won't pass an inspection that for sure. It's only plywood I think.... Have to ask the Baron who made it. If I knew someone smaller than me, I could pass this along, they could cut off the top inch or so that's turned to mush and continue to use it. For now though I think I'll just keep it and use it to simply display my divice one I get it registered.
