Personna

Unfortunatly I don't have much at add here at the moment. I've been in the sca since about 1994 or 1995. (where does the time go). And I've never really sat down to develop a personna. It's one of those things that I always kept putting on the back burner, and just never ever got around to.

I've been developing some of my intersts, such as spinning, embrodery, bardic arts, and Heavy Combat. So in some ways I've got a starting point. As far as garb goes, it would seem that my closet has a bit of everything... There's something about all of the different time periods that I like. Though I've settled on the 1400's, most of my garb comes from earlier periods. Mostly at the moment that's due to nursing. However tunics are so comfortable for camping.

Well, I've finally decided on my heraldic device, now to try and get it passed. Research has also been started into my name. (sigh). Stuff I should have done long ago. We've found the documentation needed for Dwynwen. With some research, both on my part and my husbands I've come up with Dwynwen wreic Amhlaidh. Wreic is the welsh word for Wife of. Amhlaidh is scots galic, and is pronounced Of-lave (or there abouts).

Slight less to do with my personna, and what I"m doing in the sca.... back at spring coronation both my husband and I became protege to a local Pellica (and vicountess).
